Originally from Burgundy, then planted on the vineyards of the Loire Valley, the Melon de Bourgogne, flourishes today in the country of Nantes. Resistant to winter frost, Melon de Bourgogne is quite early and composes of compact clusters with small yellow berries.

Its white wines of a beautiful freshness, with aromas of lemon, grapefruit. The ageing on fine lees bring a touch of smoothness and suppleness in the mouth.
