We are winemakers in Sancerre for 11 generations. Our estate is located at the top of Verdigny, at the foot of the Monts Damnés slope. Today it is Luc  Prieur who exploit the estate (since 2012 vintage). Our 14.5 ha Sauvignon Blanc are mainly located on the limestone soils of Verdigny and Chavignol (Caillottes and white soils). The 5 ha of Silex are located on the banks of the Loire in the village of Thauvenay. As for Pinot Noir, all our reds are produced at the terroir called "Les Pichons". A quasi-monopoly of the 5 ha estate planted in the 1950s with old massale selections, adjoining the estate and located below the "Monts Damnés" slope. The vines of the estates are cultivated in an artisanal way, 2022 is the first certified vintage. Weedkillers, insecticides, anti-rot .. are prohibited. The harvest is manual. The workforce is important. The vines are grassed and ploughed. Organic amendments and the millimetric management of our soils are essential factors in the development of great balance wines.
