Wines of Centre-Loire at the Via Sensoria of the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux

The wines of Centre-Loire join the Via Sensoria sensory tasting trail at the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux.

Located right in the heart of the Cité du Vin, in addition to the permanent exhibition, Via Sensoria is an immersive trail offering visitors an intimate, multi-sensory tasting experience that follows the rhythm of the seasons.

From spring to winter, from sunrise to sunset, visitors, accompanied by a sommelier from the Cité du Vin, travel for an hour through 4 pavilions. Each pavilion is dedicated to a particular season and recreates the atmosphere of that season through the use of images, sounds, lights, smells and materials. At each stage, a wine is offered for tasting that matches the season in terms of colour, aromatic profile and texture.

Sauvignon Blanc from the Centre-Loire region will be in the spotlight to embody spring!

Synonymous with awakening, vitality, freshness, floral and vegetal scents, this season of renewal perfectly echoes the olfactory and gustatory characteristics of Centre-Loire wines. A white wine from the region will be offered for tasting, revealing all the richness of the terroirs of Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly and the Coteaux du Giennois.

Come and experience a unique immersive and sensory experience that celebrates the deep link between wine, the seasons and the senses!
