Year of frost. Like everywhere in the Val de Loire, the Centre-Loire vineyards suffered the damages of a particularly devastating spring frost. Only the southern part of the Sancerrois escaped from it. The harvest was small and heterogeneous.
Important differences according to the vineyards and the parcels were noticed. A rigorous selection was necessary to produce a good product.
The colour was paler than other vintages, the structure made wines good to consume rapidly. On the other hand the Pinot Noir grape variety gave excellent rosé wines.
