“Vignobles & Découvertes”, the national wine tourism label in France, has managed French wine tourism since 2009.
It’s attributed to each territory and lasts 3 years. Partners displaying the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label have to meet certain requirements: a high quality of reception in French or in a foreign language, special wine knowledge and a desire to share, tradition as well as an openness to natural, cultural and human heritage.
The label makes it easier to find accommodation in vineyard regions, as well as restaurants that offer set menus suggesting wine pairings, or menus featuring local produce and even wine producers offering tours.
There is also a wide variety of remarkable heritage sites, activities and events on offer, giving you the chance to discover regional jems and the local know-how. These destinations show a commitment to ensuring a high quality of welcome to vineyard visitors.
This is one the best way to plan a travel in the Central-Loire Valley, with “Sancerre-Pouilly-Giennois” and “Berry Centre-Loire”, two destinations of 200 partners.
Come and discover the region according to what you love: guided tours in cellars and farms, wine museums, hot-air balloon and plane flights, boat excursions on the Loire River, hiking in the vineyard, golf, traditional and gastronomic restaurants, guest houses in vineyards…
